Operation & Evaluation

Evaluation of King Sejong Institute's Operation

Purpose
  • We intend to help King Sejong Institutes improve their operation by monitoring the status of their operation as institutions engaging in the distribution of the Korean language/culture in foreign countries.
  • We strive to come up with ways to provide support for King Sejong Institutes more efficiently by monitoring their status of operation objectively.
Evaluation cycle
  • Our evaluation is carried out annually, which is the standard business period of King Sejong Institute.
Evaluation method
  • We carry out evaluations based on each King Sejong Institute's in-house review report and evidential documents submitted by them concerning operations over the past year.
  • Then, we carry out on-site evaluations based on the result of the foregoing document-based evaluation.
Evaluation and review items
  • Inspections are made on operating organization, financial management, and results of cooperation with outside sources among the items of regular operation.
  • Inspections are made on the management of teachers, curricular, and education among items of education-related operation.

Survey of the level of satisfaction felt by King Sejong Institute students; evaluation of lectures

Purpose
  • The survey is carried out to enhance the systematicity and efficiency of King Sejong Institute operation by ascertaining student demand and opinion.

Survey contents
  • We have King Sejong Institute students evaluate lectures each semester, listen to their opinions on education at King Sejong Institute, and conduct surveys on the demand for Korean language/culture educations courses.
  • We strive to improve the way the operation of King Sejong Institute is carried out by conducting surveys on the level of satisfaction felt by students with the facilities and curricula once a year.
